The queen of nuts.
Information
Macadamia trees grow best in subtropical climates and rich, well-drained soils. In the 1960s, Australians and South Africans recognized the potential of macadamias and began growing them locally. Approximately 50 % of the world's macadamia production is now grown in Australia and South Africa.
The macadamia is the queen of nuts. Its creamy, buttery and smooth texture and delicious taste make it a true natural. It is often eaten on its own as a snack, enriches salads or other dishes and also adds a touch of luxury to chocolate, pralines, bread and baked goods.
